How DS keys work
DS 3, DS 4 and DS 7 use PSA remote and proximity keys, with the later cars leaning heavily on keyless entry and start.
Early DS 3 cars are effectively Citroën underneath, which usually makes them a simpler job than the later DS-badged models.

How long a DS key replacement takes
A straight replacement sits between a spare and an all-keys-lost job. If you still hold a working key it is quick; if the lost key was your only one, it becomes the all-keys-lost route below and takes longer.
What decides the price
Price is driven by the key type (DS bladed remote versus proximity fob), the model year, and whether a working key still exists. That is why we ask for the registration before quoting rather than after arriving.

- Will my old DS key still work after a replacement?
- Only if you want it to. If a key has been lost or stolen we can delete it from the vehicle so it can never start the car again — say so when you book, because it means bringing every remaining key to the visit.
- Is a replacement key from you the same as a dealer key?
- It performs the same job — lock, unlock and start — and is programmed to your DS in the same way. We are mobile and come to the vehicle, which is the practical difference for most people.
- Are newer DSs covered?
